Hi,
As per our environment ,
we have broker on one AIX server and corresponding config manager for that broker on different AIX server.
we want to build automation script that we want to put on third server where only MB installed. bar file will always located on that third server only . in this setup mqsideploy command can use under automation script for deployment for broker running on other server ?
it will work since bar file always available on third server. how bar file move from third server to server where broker installed and how it will deploy on broker ?
kindly help me to know this. |

yes but you should plan to upgrade.
Read up in the infocenter, try it out and post back with details if you don't succeed. _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

None of the reasons that exist for why you SHOULD and NEED to upgrade directly apply to your stated question.
But you SHOULD and NEED to be in the process of upgrading to v7 or better v8.
The answer to your question is that mqsideploy will move the contents of the bar file to the remote broker in the same way that the Toolkit does, by using an MQ client connection to talk to the ConfigMgr which then uses MQ to talk to the Broker. |
