I had created and deleted a qmgr several times, none of the times did I correctly remove the queue from the cluster. So, after a while, there were a bunch of cluster sender channels on the FR. I went in to delete the old channels by doing a resest cluster() qmid() action(forceremove)... however, it appears that I deleted a good one by mistake. I assume this to be the case (even though the channel is "running" when I start it???) because the QMID in the cluster sender channel definition on the FR is different than the qmgr QMID on the PR system.
Is there a way to add the QMGR back to the cluster without having to recreate the whole thing? |

Figured it out, just delete and recreate the channels on the PR |

IMHO the cluster's suffered enough. Recreate it, and accept this learning experience. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

So you've, presumably, dealt with the problem of orphaned cluster channels.
But there's no indication that you've dealt with the fact that the FR knows about multiple copies of all your shared queues.
Delete the Cluster, start over. It will save you from being haunted by the ghost of this for 90 days, plus another 30 days or more. |

Yes

No, there is only one shared queue in the entire cluster. The QMGR that owns this queue has not been touched.[/quote] |
