Hi all,

VBScript using MQ ActiveX Control is not working on W2K8R2 machine with versions 7.0.1.4 or 7.1.0.1

Script keeps throwing error "ActiveX component can't create object: 'MQAX200.MQQueueManager'"

Tried with GMQ_MQ_LIB as both mqic.dll and mqic32.dll

Anyone else had similar issue? How was it resolved?

You should be using the .NET classes instead of the ActiveX controls.

ActiveX control is installed with Client. It also works fine using client 7.0.1.4 on W2K3. (It did not work with Client 7.0.0.0 due to incorrect linking in the build)

Does this mean it can't be used in VBScript any more?

Turns out C:\Windows\system32\cscript.exe can't be used.

Issue was resolved by using C:\Windows\SysWOW64\cscript.exe
