Hi,
I don't know if my question makes sense.
I have a flow which consumes messages from a queue and route to a webservice. If the webserive is down for some reasons, will the messages be lost, and how can I recover them?
Thanks! |

It mostly makes sense. It displays a fairly fundamental lack of understanding of WMQ, WMB & transactionality in general.

Not if you've configured the flow to retain them in the event of error; the default position if you've taken no action and the messages are persistent.
You can of course augment this with something a bit more sophisticated. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

If an error happens in your flow, your error handler should backout the message till the error is resolved. If you attend the WMB Dev I training class, the second day, after lunch, the instructor talks about proper error handler design. Had you attended training? If not, why not? _________________ http://leanpub.com/IIB_Tips_and_Tricks
