I have 2 multi instance queue managers (QM1 and QM2) and the messages needed by my application may appear on either queue manager. Version 7.1 of MQ.
I have a J2EE MDB as a client. If I want the MDB to be able to failover over to any one of the 4 instances (QM1 active, QM1 standby, QM2 active, QM2 standby) is it better to do that in the Connection List field of the .bindings or have the .bindings point to a CCDT?
What are the differences in that case? Why would you use one or the other? _________________ http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2004/03/19 |

Definitely connection list. Think about it and you'll come to the same conclusion yourself.
