Hi,
Following some high volume testing our queues are now clear.
However we have a large gap (over 120) between the log file required for media recovery and the log file required for qmgr restart.
Our log files are 256 mb so this represents a sizeable amount of disk space.
I'm puzzled why the media image is so large given that the queues are clear.
Any ideas?

I'm going to ask the obvious question: what is the gap after rcdmqimg is run now that your queues are clear?

| I had run rcdmqimg -m qmgr -t all '*' and the gap was the same following completion. In other words still over 120 between them |

The gap between media and restart logs has just been reduced to 1 spontaneously.
I'm wondering whether this could have been caused by many uncommitted messages on the queues that I hadn't seen.
