| I have in test and production on the same LPAR CICS region connected to z/OS queue manager. This works fine. We would like to move that CICS region on an other LPAR. Is it possible to connect CICS region and z/OS queue manager on different LPARs? For example it's very easy to connect z/OS WAS and z/OS queue manager on different LPARs. |

IMHO, the queuemanager must be local to CICS

Location: US: west coast, almost. Otherwise, enroute.

The adapter monitors a local queue for inbound messages. A queue requires a queue manager.
