Hi,

Is it possible to get the bar files from existing running flows? Anyway in tool kit we can perform this?

I guess you can extract the ESQL code.

Though this is not recommended.

Yes, you can guess that. You can't be sure.

But you still mentioned it. Even though you admit on this thread you've never actually done it, just heard about it.

I stand by my comment on the thread about who you heard it from.

Still not a replacement for proper version control practices.

We have different concepts of "wonderful".

How complex was the flow you tried to extract ESQL from?

I would also put it to you that if you've successfully made it from one side of a mine field to the other intact while a large number of people emptied belt after belt of 50mm ammo in your direction, your correct response should be to thank your lucky stars and any gods who may have been in the vicinity at the time whilst planning how to never need to do that again.

Not write it up on a travel site as a great place to take the family on an afternoon stroll.

The extraction works "wonderfully"... though it is called "reportproperties" ... one of the properties reported is the (run time) ESQL-code.

The question was whether you can recover the bar-files... the answer is no. But the closest thing you can do (as of our current knowledge in this thread) is to recover the runtime-esql-properties (including (inlined/(pre-compiled)) ESQL).

We have commented about the problems / usefulness of this and I really agree... I have never used it and just tried it out today. It wasn't of any interest or use to me at any point previously.

btw here is a "pattern" that seems to extracts (everything but ESQL).
