Dear Team,

I done mqsisetdbparams for application DB for broker in 6.1

Now my client is asking how you can check from broker side that particular DB is registered successfully or not?

I inform then pass one test business transaction if broker is able to interact with DB then it is successful but client is refusing for that.

Can any plz help on that?

Thank you

Venu

At v6.1, the only test you have is that you can access it from a message flow.

If you upgrade to v7 or later, you can use the mqsicvp command.

But you *can't* do that at v6.1.

Tell your client to move to a supported version of WMB (i.e. WMBv7 or higher) and use the enhanced mqsicvp command. Which is only one of many reasons they should move off WMBv6.1

i executed mqsicvp in mb 6.1..it will display only broker related testing. It will not display any application db values.

Yes.

That's correct.

You can't use this in v6.1

You can only use this in v7 or later.

There is NOTHING YOU CAN USE in v6.1 EXCEPT a MESSAGE FLOW.

No it won't. That's what it was enhanced to do in v7.

Hence my comment above to upgrade to v7 and use the enhanced version of the command.
