Hi,
Has anyone had any issues with installing MQ 7.5 on AIX. I am currently getting a dependency failure on the following fileset
mqm.txclient.rte
Which is strange because the transactional client has been rolled into the core product.
Still investigating but thought I would ask here. Any ideas?
Thanks

Sorry for posting in the wrong category by the way. Not sure how to change it.
Also, I should add I already have MQ 7.1. installed and this is in a non-default location using the -R flag on installp....however not sure that should matter.

I thought i'd see a previous post or two on this subject.
Does the mentioned package exist in the filesets included in the installation package?
It could also just be an order-of-install issue. |

Me too
As expected from documentation there were no filesets for mqm.txclient but yet generating a toc (instead of using the shipped .toc) creates 'ifreq' entries for mqm.txclient.rte
Have raised a PMR
Thanks

Hi,
PMR Raised, IBM initially came back with a query as to whether this was an upgrade. Definitely not an upgrade, but there is a dependency on the txclient fileset regardless.
I uninstalled the fileset that came with v7.1 (already installed) and then the 7.5 installer worked!
Strange
