would be glad if anyone could guide me through the installation of MQseries. I have installed websphere MQ 5.3 successfully , but i could see that it does not have samples for Java.
Pls advise what all is necessary or any links where it is mentioned .
bottom line is i want to use MQseries via Java code.
i tried to install ma88_win.zip but it gave an error during installation "incompatible MQseries already installed" and quits.

basically i want to know what all is required to install and configure for MQseries 5.3 and java in windows NT environment.

You have to select a custom setup from the 5.3 installer, and choose the java option.

The MA88 support pac functionality is included with WMQ 5.3.
You don't have to install it seperately.
Check out the IBM book "WebSphere MQ Using Java" SC34-6066.
It explains how to use Java with this version of WMQ.
