I've searched the forum for this problem, but couldn't find one that apply as they all had deleted their log files.
I am trying to start my queue manager, but am getting the AMQ7017 Log not available error. The logs are not deleted, they are where they are supposed to be and have the correct permissions (so it appears). If I check my errors/AMQ*1 file, it says the oldest log file needed is S320.LOG.... that file is in /var/mqm/logs/QMGR/active
Any ideas why the queue manager won't start? Any idea how to get it started (asside from deleting it and starting over)
Cause
The qm.ini files had been altered and the LogPath entries were removed.
After making the change to qm.ini LogPath, the queue manager failed to start because S0000001.log was not available. The log file was present and the permissions appeared to be correct, but it seemed to be corrupted.
