hi,
I'm trying to uninstall MQ on linux with rpm -ev command.. for fresh installation.
but, it's fialing with interdependencies for
MQSeriesRuntime-7.0.1-0 and MQSeriesServer-7.0.1-0

I'm getting the following error:
rpm -ev MQSeriesServer-7.0.1-0
error: Failed dependencies:
/opt/mqm/bin/dspmq is needed by (installed) MSL1-1.0.1-1.noarch
/opt/mqm/bin/endmqm is needed by (installed) MSL1-1.0.1-1.noarch
/opt/mqm/bin/strmqm is needed by (installed) MSL1-1.0.1-1.noarch

but, the /opt/mqm/ directory is already removed..earlier..
is there anyway, I can force remove the above packages on the server?

MSL is not an IBM WMQ package.

But apparently it requires an MQ install.

Try uninstalling that.

hi,
It worked. Thanks. MSL1 is service pack for autostart and stop..
with removing it, I was able to uninstal
