I am trying to add user defined node in the WMB Tool kit 7 by keeping the jar file in the WMBT700\dropins folder. Then I did

mb.exe -clean -initialize

but the node is not listed in the Palette. Did I miss any step? Please help to fix the same.

Did you accomplish this step?

Quote:
The "Import and partially setup the sample" option adds the preceding directories to the workspace and causes approximately nine errors and two warnings. These errors and warnings are expected, and most are resolved when you complete Steps 5 and 6. However, two warnings might remain:
An entry for UDESampleJavaCode.jar is required in bin.includes.
The folder "META-INF/" does not exist in the workspace.

Did you put the *right* jar file in the dropins? Did you add the Toolkit jar or the runtime jar?

Does the workspace/.metadata/log file contain any errors?

Thanks for the followup. I got a new jar file and it worked. At least the steps I have followed were correct.
