We are looking to use Business Monitor to monitor messages traversing multiple systems. We will potentially be using WBIMB to act as a proxy to generate the event messages.
Does anyone here have any experience with using Business Monitor? I am particularity interested in the message throughput rate as we will need it to cope with 3 at least 3 million messages per day (with peaks and troughs).
Obviously it depends on hardware, but I would like to hear other peoples production/test experiences with Business Monitor.
On a side note, do many UK based companies use Business Monitor? |

15,000 TPS is sustainable throughput which is by far much higher than your 3 million messages per day. POWER7 hardware with AIX 7.1 will get you ten percent more punch than standard hardware. _________________ http://leanpub.com/IIB_Tips_and_Tricks

Sounds like a very good use of WMB. Exactly what the WMB monitoring facilities were designed for ( among other things ).

Yes - if you speak to your IBM rep they may be able to give you some references. |
