This is the first time we are trying to implement MQ SSL on a system other than AIX,Solaris,HP,Linux platform. We are setting in up on a HP NonStop Server (Tandem). From the documentation SSL cert generaltion looks like it is much different from other servers. It use OpenSSL . All the examples in the documentaion uses self signed certs and we are not able to do that. We must create a CSR to be sent to a CA to be processed. Any one out there have any experiance in working with MQ SSL on HP Nonstop Servers?
Thanks |

What version of WMQ?
What version of the o/s?
What documentation are you looking at (URL)? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

That's nothing to do with WMQ.

There's no such thing as "MQ SSL". There's SSL, which WMQ uses in documentated ways. IIRC WMQ HP Non Stop doesn't use it in a significantly different way to WMQ on Linux, AIX or Solaris.
If there's a significant difference in how SSL certs are generated & stored on HP I'll believe you & recommend you post in a HP specific forum where you might get more targetted help.
But OpenSSL is easy enough, and general enough. Works on the other Unix flavours you mentioned for sure. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
