Hi,
I am stuck with MQ error 2044, can anybody help me on this?
Description of the error message.
Text: DATABASE ERROR - SYSTEM SUPPORT REQUIRED DBRETC = +044
Level: 2
Code: 0920
TextNo1:
TextNo2:
ItemNo: 0000
ItemSeqNo: 00

why is a database error a mq problem?

What's emitting this message? I'm guessing an application as the software doesn't format things like that, but why does it call it a database issue?
How have you determined that the "+044" reported is in fact a 2044 from WMQ when in 2 places in the text the "error code" is given as "0920" which sounds like an SQL code & hence the sort of thing a database would return. Hence the text calling it a "database error".
