Hi Friends,
We have set up a application triggering on one our mainframe local queue. The trigger condition set as "first" with queue depth 1. We use CICS application to be triggered .After few days the queue attribute trigger went " off " without any human intervention. So we need to start the trigger again in order to trigger the application.I dont think the application has the capacity to change the queue attribute off(trigger). Please let me know what could be the root cause and also the location of information i could search......Thanks. |

Have you granted set (or equivalent) authority? If so, the app has that capacity.
Research and read about triggering, and conditions that will cause triggering to be turned off. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

I don't think there are any conditions that automatically would turn the trigger control to off, for a Trigger On First queue.
An app with MQSET authority turned it off.
-or-
Someone with enough MQADMIN rights to alter the queue definition altered it.
-or
Someone with enough MQADMIN rights to delete and replace the queue definition with it set it off did that. _________________ Peter Potkay
