MQSeries.net :: View topic - Upgradation plan to 3.4 from 3.3.0 : past experinces plss

Hi

,

We have planned to upgrade our mq workflow from 3.3.0 to 3.4 also my aix to 5.2 which is currently 4.3.

For mq workflow minimum requirement.

1) I could find that this needs db2 7.2 ( we have 7.1)
2)needs mq series 3.2 with csd 6 or 5 ( we have only 5.1)

My other concern is say i propose db2 7.2 i found in db2 forum that aix 5.2 needs db2 8.

Also My content manager is Cm 7.1 . so if i db2 to 8 . will cm 7.1 work.
Then comes Tivoli Storage Manager .

then comes ldap(3.2.2) which is again dependent on db2 . so again the problem of db2 dependency and version.

So i am in the process of a big study which i need to complete in a day or 2 .All these sudden change is the reason that IBM is not going to give support to older versions .

So of the experienced members can give me some valuaable suggestions and path to proceed .

So meanwhile i start my study hope any of u can provide me with more valuable details and experiences from doing such tasks .looking eagerly for ur suggestions

i posted even the other product details because usually in a workflow project u can find all these related products too ...
