All,
So my shop has MQIPT V 2.0.0.1 & Java 1.6.0-17 for one of our clients. Every time the windows servers attempt to go beyond that version of Java, MQIPT promptly falls over. Well and good thus far. The big question is, that version of Java is old by server standards. The client has a definite requirement to go Java 1.6.0-32 as a minimum. I know MQIPT is behind the times (2.0.0.3 is the current version). So the couple of questions are
1. Anyone running 2.0.0.3 and a later version of Java (than 1.6.0-17)?
2. a. Should I install 2.0.0.3 first and try and upgrade Java or
b. Upgrade Java and re-install from scratch MQIPT?
3. Raise a PMR with IBM?

Thanks

Yes.

if a doesn't work.

yes.

To be clear, I am advocating the "AND" option, not the "OR" option.

Do both things - open a PMR AND try and update it yourself.
