IM GETTING THIS ERROR:
BIP2066E: Broker 'BROKERNAME' (UUID '8080bbf6-1c01-0000-0080-c7f77748294b') was unable to retrieve an internal configuration response message for execution group 'EG' within the 360 second configuration timeout.
The execution group did not respond within the time period set by the broker's ConfigurationChangeTimeout parameter. A negative response is returned to the Configuration Manager for this execution group. The ConfigurationChangeTimeout parameter defines the maximum length of time in which an execution group can apply a deployed configuration change.
By default, the value of the ConfigurationChangeTimeout parameter is 300 seconds.
You can increase, and decrease, the timeout by using the mqsichangebroker command and changing the value of the ConfigurationChangeTimeout parameter. Changing this parameter does not resolve any underlying problem with the deployed message, but can reduce the response turnaround time, or increase it to allow for large and complex deployments.
---
I TRIED BY STOPPING AND RESTARTING THE QUEUEMANAGER,CONFIGMANAGER,BROKER THROUGH COMMANDS ALSO.
IM GETTING ALERT LIKE BROKER NOT RUNNING,EG NOT RUNNING AND FLOW NOT RUNNING.
i VE ALSO CHANGED THE CONFIG MANAGER PROXY SETTING i.e MAXIMUM NO OF RETRY TO 300
kINDLY HELP ME IN THIS ISSUE |

Stop the configMgr.
view all the entries in the system log.
Start the configmgr.
View all the new entries in the system log, until the configmgr says that it has started up successfully.
Verify the number of messages on the configmgr queues and the number of messages on the broker admin queues. |

stop using all caps
review the section in the information center on configuring the broker and configmgr database. You have not done the necessary |

Can you delete and recreate the Broker&Configmgr (try to recreate it with a different name) ?... are you on a development machine ?
Before you delete the broker, I would remove all deployed flows first, then delete all execution groups... and then delete the broker... otherwise there can be "zombi exec groups" (on Broker 6.0). _________________ Just use REFERENCEs |

You need to change the database configuration. It has nothing to do with your broker or your EGs.
Follow the instructions in the Information Center on configuring the database.
The error you have has a very specific keyword from DB2 configuration. Once you identify that keyword, you will be able to find the right information in the Information Center. |

If the OP's problem is that he can't deploy flows then I doubt this advice will be all that useful...
The OP also does not need to delete & recreate any components. Specifically doing that is unlikely to help. The only thing that's going to help is following the install instructions correctly and not missing a step.
Alternatively the OP could try reading the error being produced or the advice from my most worthy associate. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Hi,
Im getting this error now while tryind to restrat the config manager and i increased the APP_CTL_HEAP_SZ to 1024 in the db2 instance but im getting the same error.
User Name Services are disabled.
The Configuration Manager communicates with the User Name Server in order to procure user and group information for configuring topic ACLs.
No action unless you want to manage topic ACLs. If you want to manage topic ACLs you must reconfigure the Configuration Manager by providing a queue manager name for the User Name Server. |

Problem accessing the broker database for publish/subscribe function.
A problem was encountered when accessing the broker database while processing a publish/subscribe function. The available information is given above in other messages.
Check that the database is started and accessible, by using your database management tools. You may find some useful information in the problem determination section of the product documentation. Investigate any error codes given in the message above in your database documentation. |

You need to follow all the installation instructions. Not just the ones you noticed & the one we told you that you missed. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
