The hold quee in the workflow has reached a size of 88 may be it is maximum .is there any problem / side effectin purging the messages in hold quee .
if say hold quee is full . will it affect the server .since my admin server did not respond yesterday and i had to restart.. _________________ Vinod sasidharan

Can't you try to replay the messages on the hold queue?
My experience is that although you can clear the hold queue, you really should investigate why the messages ended up out there and take actions to stop that. In our case it was "Expiry Notication Failures" because of database lockouts, we adjusted the number of retries allowed and this eliminated the probelm (or rather reduced the chance of it happening). |

Although I did not state this directly... Kevin is absolutely right. You should never delete anything from the Hold queue without prior investigation as to how it got there.
Again, I think you might have a real problem here and should post this question to IBM _________________ John McDonald
