we can reconfigure Broker with the new data source even though the broker configured with a existing data source.


so if a new data source exists in a remote system,so what should be the command parameters to configure with the existing broker

Where did you come up with that command syntax?
Look at the Info center for the command syntax: "mqsisetdbparms command".

For the -n flag you will use the ODBC DSN you have configured for the remote resource.

If you haven't, check the Info center: "Enabling ODBC connections to the databases".

Assuming it is ODBC you are using since say data source...

mqsisetdbparms only sets security for a datasource, not any thing else.
