Try this: DISPLAY QSTATUS(xmitqueuename) _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

If there are no running applications putting messages to a QREMOTE (open for output), or running channels (open for input) there will be no status returned.
Your QREMOTE names should be mapped to the applications that use them and should be documented, and the TRIGDATA of the transmission queue will tell you which channel will get from it, or if not triggered, the XMITQ value of a SDR channel will. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Why is it important for you to know which process is holding the thread that's hosting the message channel agent that's processing your xmitq? |

If you'd thought for a moment before blinding posting txt spk, you'd realise that there is a list of 1 possible process that links an xmitq to a channel. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Seriously? You're seriously asking? Still?
After you've been told what it is & that the information is of strictly limited value? And what it is? And a couple of ways to find the actual process name if it's that important to your colleague? Who I shudder to think what use he will put this information to?
Why not ask us for the PID as well? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

I'm not going to dignify that with an answer. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
