I have installed MB7.0 and trying to access Derby database
through compute node and want to do some operations like
the location is :
C:\Documents and Settings\admin\IBM\wmbt70\TEST7\.metadata\.plugins\com.ibm.datatools.db2.cloudscape.driver\SAMPLE.

I am trying to access Schemas with name SAMP.

SET PartsTable.Part[] = SELECT
P.PartNumber,
P.Description,
P.Price
FROM Database.DSN.SAMP.YYY AS P;
Iam not sure what the DSN name i have to give.
please suggest.

What does it say in the InfoCentre about 'supported Databases'?

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.

Is a driver for that database supplied with the WMB product for the database (whatever database that may be)?

Have you configured an ODCB using the supplied driver which points to the relevant database?

Does that ODBC pass a connectivity test?

If that's all true, why are you asking what to use & if it's possible?
