Toolkit/RunTime version: 6.1.0.10
I note in InfoCentre states that the collector node now supports some new properties, specifically ;-
Quote: |
The Collector node Advanced properties are described in the following table:
Persistence mode (this was there before)
Event coordination (this was there before)
Configurable service (THIS IS NEW)
This property specifies the name of the Collector configurable service to be used by the Collector node.
The properties set by the Collector configurable service override the equivalent properties set on the Collector node.
For more information about the properties than you can set with this configurable service, see Configurable services
|
and also a whole new tab for :-

Additional instances pool

However, none of these show up when I pop this node onto the flow designer ?
Re-downloaded and reinstalled fix pack 10 for the Toolkit, started the toolkit up with the -clean option (as per install instructions), ... but still no joy.
I'm having a few issues with using this node that these properties *might* help with, so frustrating.
Can anyone else confirm that these properties appear in their 6.1 install, and if so, suggest why they don't in mine ?
Thanks

They don't show up for me.
This might be a bug in the v6.1 InfoCenter, that these are only added in v7.
It's worth a quick PMR. |

Yes I agree (pity they look promising).
Interestingly, on my v8 install, the configurable service property is there, but there's nothing for additional instances at all, so perhaps thats another problem with the docs (damn didn't check the v8 InfoCentre before shutting down, it might be that the part relating to additional instance has been removed - I'll check that before going gung-ho into a PMR)
