I believe that MQ is already installed in the hypervisor VM image. |

The hits I discovered in my google search refer to installation documentation for each o/s.
As Jeff posted, the hypervisor is pre-installed in the VMWare image distribution - not separately. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

In VMWare, you install by:
INstall VMWare on a server
Then install a VM image that contains both the OS and application
So when you install, you do not install the app onto an OS, (you dont install WMQ on Linux), you install the entire edition containing both an OS and WAS. So you install the WMQ hypervisor edition (OS + WMQ) onto a VMWare Server.
I can definitely find documentation on how to install WMQ on an OS
What I can not find is how to install the WMQ hypervisor edition onto a VMWare server |

A google search for WebSphereMQ+hypervisor yielded this URL: http://publibfp.dhe.ibm.com/epubs/pdf/c3472450.pdf _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
