Hi,
I am currently new to MQ z/os. Could anyone please share me a sample JCL for creating resources like LOCAL QUEUE,INITIATION QUEUE,SENDER CHANNEL,RECEIVER CHANNEL,PROCESSES or please direct me to a URL which has the information to create the above resources. |

The MQSC commands will be (nearly) identical to those used on Windows/UNIX.
On WMQ for z/OS, you will use the IBM-supplied CSQUTIL utility application to process MQSC commands.
The WebSphere MQ for z/OS System Administration Guide manual documents how to use CSQUTIL, and includes JCL examples.
You can click the Library icon at the top of this page, then search for the manual. Or, search google for WebSphere MQ for z/OS System Administration Guide, download it from IBM. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

Except the difference in the DEFINE QLOCAL can bite, and there are more artifacts in z/OS than there are in distributed. Be sure you understand page sets and storage classes before you start defining things. It's also a good idea (on the same subject) to understand how your site manages storage & to make friends with whoever in the sys prog team is in charge of it.

Note that your site will have probably have different JCL standards to the examples shown & they'll need to be tweaked.
That document also contains a wealth of information on other topics, like queue manager logging, BSDS and z/OS security for WMQ. Which is another area with a lot of differences against distributed. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
