Hi followed the instructions for support pac iam3 (Log4J node) and am able to use the Log4j calls in the message flows using ESQL so I know it is installed correctly.

But if I want to use the Log4j node in my message flows I can't because there is no node under the construction palette.

Version: 7.0.0.3
Build id: 7.0.0.3-IFix-20111017_1326
on Windows XP

I have also restarted the toolkit many times over using the -clean option with no luck, any suggestions....

There is no reason to use the log4j support pak. It may have been a good reason in version 5. But since version 6.1, you can call log4j directly from JCN or ESQL and do not need the support pak.

Hi Jim,

Have you copied the correct jar file into your toolkit "plugins" folder ? This jar file is a different one to that you install on the server.
