Hi,
I currently installed MQ ver 6.0 on Windows 7 Enterprise.
I was able to create a new Queue Manager QM, but unable to start. I got the following error code ;
"Initialization of resource 'amqmsrvn' failed, rc=0x80070005
Access is denied.
exitvalue = -4 ".
I did the following :
I went to MQwindows services-> Properties and added Identity details (username , password).
I went to Component Services -> DCOM -> MQ Services Properties and added (username and Password).
I restarted my system and yet my QM is not starting and giving the error code that I mentioned above.
Can you kindly guide me as to what other actions I need to take inorder to successfully start my QM. Thanks

I don't think that WMQ 6 is certified for W7.
Have you tried running it in XP compatibility mode?

Install a version of WMQ that runs on Windows 7.
