Hello experts,

We using MQSeries Q Program by Paul Clarke [ V5.0.0 Build:Jul 17 2008 ] for Unix.

We are trying to put a XML file on our queue, but this message required a documentVersion (with value 2) in the message (not in the xml file).

Does anybody have an idea how we can do that?

Where in the message if not the XML? MQRFH2 usr folder? JMS property? MIME attachment? Spray painted on the side?

I'd guess you'd need to:

a) Edit the message before using q
b) Use a different utility / support pac to put to the queue
c) Write a small application to edit the message and put it

Other options are undoubtably available and the selection will hinge on your exact requirement (i.e. where you need to stick this data).
