You think we can see your site???

All the possible connection infomation is covered in the link my most worthy associate provided. You just need to check each possible method.

The advice to ask the application team is valid because it's perfectly possible that the connection information is coded into the application rather than the environment (e.g. a database table with connection information).

Will the developers be aware of more information?

They'll certainly know if the reason you can't find any connection information is because they have it within the application.

Even if not there's also a sporting chance they'll know where the configuration is stored because at some point they must have tested the application. This would require them to set up a client connection tht points to a test environment unless they do their testing in production. Or just assume the code works & fix the production errors as they happen.

No. That file is a binary generated by the software. While you might see human-readable items if you open it with Notepad or similar it will break if you edit it to change any values.

You need to create a new file containing the changed details, as described in the documentation. There's also a support pac for creating this file you might want to consider.

You started this thread oh so long ago by saying that the ip address of the server was changing. Unless the client is using 127.0.0.1 then this would imply you need to change it.

Unless you mean that the "client" is an application client that's in fact using WMQ's bindings connection not the client connection. In which case no you wouldn't because that kind of connection doesn't reference the TAB file.

So we can't say because we can't see your set up.
