Hi All,
First we took a mqsibackupbroker for an existing Broker instance. Then we deleted the broker and created new multi instance broker with the same name. Test the multi-instance scenarion it worked fine. Then we tried to use mqsirestorebroker to restore the old configuation to multi-instance.
While executing mqsirestorebroker command, it deletes multi-instance broker and create single instance.
How can we move single-instance broker configuation to multi-instance shared path?
Any suggestion? _________________ Bravo |

Why would you think that you can restore a single instance configuration to a multi-instance object? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Yes. but not by the procedure you've tried.
Create a new broker that's multi-instance. Run your scripts that originally set all of the necessary properties and configurable services. Run your scripts that originally did all of your deploys.
I.e. create a brand new broker and make sure it has all of the same deployed objects and settings as the previous broker. This should be easy, because you should *at a minimum* have a record of *each and every change* you made to the existing broker. |

If that really always happened we wouldn't need MS03 etc... |
