Hi,

When i am posting messages messages are getting stucked in XMITQ. When i am trying to start channel but i am getting below error

AMQ8101: WebSphere MQ error (893) has occurred.

I checked in FDC>PFB

| Major Errorcode :- xecE_E_MSG_FILE_NOT_LOADED |
| Minor Errorcode :- OK |
| Probe Type :- INCORROUT |
| Probe Severity :- 2 |
| Probe Description :- AMQ6125: WebSphere MQ was unable to open a message |
| catalog. |

| Comment1 :- Failed to open message catalog |
| Comment2 :- NLSPATH is <NULL>, LC_MESSAGES is <NULL>, LANG is |
| <NULL> |

Please let me know how to get rid on this

that means that you didn't install the messages rpm, or that the queue manager can't find them somehow.

It, unfortunately, doesn't have any relation to your actual problem other than preventing the system from telling you more about the actual problem.

i am unable to start the channel manually and channel is not getting started automatically though i set Triggering

Yes, I understand that.

The data you have provided gives no reason why that is the case.

It merely tells me that you did not install a certain part of the MQ install - the part that contains error message descriptions - or that you did install it but somehow the queue manager can't find it.

So I have no idea why you can't start the channel.

ended channel forcefully.. but still i was getting error... i killed that process and started channel

Hi Suneel,

Whenever the messages are inside XMITQ and when u try to start the channel , i have observed that the cahnnel wont start.

If the messages can be retriggered again than it is better to be clear the messages from the queue and than start the channel.

However if messages are very critical and cannot be retriggered and you want to start channel than waht is the oficial steps to carry out.

Coz always u cannot kickstart.
