Hi,
We are trying to migrate a flow containing two user defined nodes from WMB6.0 to WMB7.0, but we are unable to do it successfully. We have created seperate plug-in projects for the user defined nodes and are associating them with the main flow through project reference.
The problem we are facing is, that the nodes are getting imported as a subflow, and not a Node, hence its showing an error.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks. |

User defined plugins have two components, the toolkit piece and the runtime piece.
The toolkit piece needs to be packaged and compiled and deployed to each individual toolkit where it will then show up in the message flow editor.
The runtime piece needs to be compiled and packaged and deployed to the runtime where it will be found by compiled message flows that use it.
IF you don't have both of these pieces as existing eclipse projects in v6, you can't migrate to v7 properly. If you only have the runtime piece, you can move that to v7 and still use flows that already use it. |
