Hi Friends,
I was going to install WMB 7.0.0.1 on Redhat 6 and was reading the installation guide before that and according to guide the Operating system supported by WMb version 7 (for LINUX x86-64) are
Linux Intel Red Hat Enterprise Linux V4.0 with service level Update 2
Linux Intel Red Hat Enterprise Linux V5.0
Linux Intel SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 9
Linux Intel SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 10
So does this mean that I will have downgrade my redhat version???
a ton of Thanks . _________________ ----------------------

If you want support for your broker.
So the answer to your question is either "maybe" or "probably".
But any problems you get during the install or with the running of the broker will be on you to fix. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Or you could review the system requirements page on IBM's website again, and make sure you are reviewing the topic for the component (toolkit, mbexplorer, runtime) that you are trying to run.
I suspect you'll find that you just need to do the CORRECT thing, and run Broker 7.0.0.3 instead of 7.0.0.1. |

Sure, I have an option of going with 7.0.0.3 . I can do that but still the installation guide does not mention anywhere that Redhat 6 is supported ot not. What should i do in this case?? _________________ ----------------------

Upgrade your installation guide.
Or as I previously said, look at IBM's Website.
And, again, make sure you know which component you are trying ot run on RedHat 6. |
