when ever i make a key database in my system to setup SSL
it gets corrupted after sometime.
untill last night everything was ok with the key.kdb but today when i wanted to reset its password it was showing the data base has been corrupted ..
this is the second time the key database has got corrupted even the key database before this also got corrupted what could be the the possible reason. |

Possibly the difference between using
gsk7cmd and gsk7capicmd....
If the first tells you it is corrupted, try the latter.

i used the gsk7capicmd both times.
when i first time created the kdb i didn't mentionde the password is single quotes. so i wanted to change the password and reset it with single quotes. |

Are you sure that such a password is allowed?
Try something more down to earth

i guess it is allowed, cause when i was creating the key db it didn't gave any error regarding this, and even worked well at the time when i was working on it for adding self signed certificates,
it only throwed the error first time when i was trying to ping the receiver channel from the sender channel.
at that time it gave the error aamq9660, ibm says it can be due to
1: password was not in single couts
2 : key database is corrupet or not in the right place |
