Hi,
We have a msgflow in production which processes real-time and batch messages, to differentiate between real-time and batch we have two separate MQInput nodes and they read msgs from two different Qs. I would like to know how WMB is going to handle such a situation. We have total 11 threads running for that particular Msgflow, can someone please explain how threads are allocated to each Q.
Also, if we have a large number of msgs on a particular Q at a particular time and flow is processing them, then at what time it would check the other Q for any new msgs; will it first drain the first Q and then look for msgs on the other Q or it does that based on some other mechanism.
Any information about this is really appreciated. |

The documentation is pretty clear on this.
Have you found a section of the documentation that discusses this, but does not make it clear to you? Can you tell us which one, so we can explain it better? |

Thanks a lot for the prompt reply.
I would be highly glad if you would be able to provide me the link for appropriate documentation that you referred in your post.
Thanks again for your help. |

Did you look for 'Additional Instances'?
This was also discussed in a thread from a few days ago. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |
