Goodmornig all.....
Just a quick quistion...
Is it possible to manage a queue manager running on Linux from the MQSeries Explorer ?
If yes, could someone please tell me how to configure QM to accept remote connections.

On Linux, do the following.
Define a svrconn channel.
Start your listener on a specific port, say XXXX.
On NT
Connect to linux qm from within mqexplorer as you would do with a local qm.

Yes, it is the only solution ? Why do you develop MQEXPLORER with Microsoft dependencies ? IBM want to go to LINUX why not JAVA MQEXPLORER ? |

I believe there are plans in the works for adding MQExplorer like functionality to the WSAD/Eclipse tooling. But I don't know when this will be released. |
