Hi,

What are the steps that are to be taken to avoid a queue manager / MQ obejcts crash?

Is there any document that lists the backup plan , recovery plan , preferred MQ configurations etc...

You might want to look at the MQSeries Backup and Recovery Redbook. It was written in 1998:
