Hi,
I am using MQ 7.0.1.6 on windows Server enterprise 2008(64-bit) and oracle 11.1.0.6.0 release one(64-bit). I configure the XA information in the XA resource manager of the qmanager and tried restarting it but qmanager is not starting I am getting the following errors.
AMQ7626: XA resource manager initialization failure. Refer to the error log for more information.
AMQ6256: The system could not dynamically load the DLL 'C:\Program Files
(x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\exits\jdbcora11.dll'.
AMQ6175: The system could not dynamically load the library C:\Program Files
(x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\exits\jdbcora11.dll. The system returned error message
'<NULL>'.
can any one suggest what has to be checked. |

Your installation? As what sounds a lot like an Oracle JDBC driver seems to be AWOL? So either you don't have the right dll or your configuration is pointing to the wrong place (as I don't believe that would be in a WMQ directory by default).

You mean to say that I need to check my oracle driver. The error I am geting is that it(Qmanager) always try to load 32-bit dll. Do you have any link for configuring on windows 64 bit |

Well this seems to be directly relevant, speaking as it does about the requirements of a 64-bit queue manager to have both the 32 bit and 64 bit Oracle drivers. And not that hard to find with the InfoCenter search. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Then I repeat my earlier comment about checking it. The queue manager doesn't seem able to find what you've identified as the 32-bit driver (and I'll take your word for that) so it's either not installed properly or the queue manager is looking in the wrong place for it.
Can you (outside of WMQ) successfully use both 32 & 64 bit versions on that box? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Yes I am able to use both 32 and 64 bit applications on that box.
Is there any thing to be checked with the dll file. But how to confirm the dll is either 64bit or 32 bit. |

Not quite what I asked. I asked if you could use both 32 & 64 bit Oracle clients on that box.
I would expect both 32 bit apps & 64 bit apps to run happily. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Yes I am able to use both 32 bit and 64 bit clients(use) to connect to database. and more over even the server installation of oracle is also installed on the syatem. But I made sure that the path does not point to server installation. |

Then you need help from someone who knows more about this than I do. Which isn't difficult.
I'm sure such a person will be along in a minute. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

WHERE exactly in the filesystem did you find jdbcorall.dll? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

Did you try specifying the filesystem path where you found it in the .ini file? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

I did not get what you are saying. I tried by giving the full path in the switch file but did not work
I am geting the error as below
AMQ6256: The system could not dynamically load the DLL 'C:\Program Files
(x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\exits\jdbcora11.dll'.
EXPLANATION:
This message applies to UNIX systems. The DLL 'C:\Program Files
(x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\exits\jdbcora11.dll' failed to load as it is probably a
64-bit DLL, a 32-bit DLL is required. Note that MQ tried to find a 32-bit DLL
named 'C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\exits32\jdbcora11.dll', but
failed. The following message gives details of the original failure.
ACTION:
Supply the name of a 32-bit DLL.
----- amqxufnn.c : 1345 -------------------------------------------------------
10/28/2011 12:01:13 - Process(4980.1) User(MUSR_MQADMIN) Program(amqzxma0.exe)
Host(win2k)
AMQ6175: The system could not dynamically load the library C:\Program Files
(x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\exits\jdbcora11.dll. The system returned error message
'<NULL>'.
EXPLANATION:
This message applies to Windows systems only. The dynamically loadable file
C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WebSphere MQ\exits\jdbcora11.dll failed to load
correctly due to an internal error. The MQ error recording routine has been
called.
ACTION:
Check that the file has not been corrupted then use the standard facilities
supplied with your system to record the problem identifier, and to save the
generated output files. Use either the WMQ Support site:
http://www.ibm.com/software/integration/wmq/support/, or IBM Support Assistant
(ISA): http://www.ibm.com/software/support/isa/, to see whether a solution is
already available. If you are unable to find a match, contact your IBM support
center. Do not discard these files until the problem has been resolved.

Host(Win2k)
AMQ7622: WebSphere MQ could not load the XA switch load file for resource
manager 'OracleXAExample'.
EXPLANATION:
An error has occurred loading XA switch file jdbcora11. If the error occurred
during startup then the queue manager will terminate. At all other times the
queue manager will continue without this resource manager meaning that it will
no longer be able to participate in global transactions. The queue manager will
also retry the load of the switch file at regular intervals so that the
resource manager will be able to participate again should the load problem be
resolved.
ACTION:
Look for a previous message outlining the reason for the load failure. Message
AMQ6175 is issued if the load failed because of a system error. If this is the
case then follow the guidance given in message AMQ6175 to resolve the problem.
In the absence of prior messages or FFST information related to this problem
check that the name of the switch load file is correct and that it is present
in a directory from which it can be dynamically loaded by the queue manager.
The easiest method of doing this is to define the switch load file as a
fully-qualified name. Note that if the queue manager is still running it will
need to be restarted in order that any changes made to its configuration data
can be picked up.
