Hi,
We currently have part of the business functionalities of our client implemented in WTX and rest in WMB. All the WTX functionalities are implemented as stand-alone WTX systems using maps, types trees and mdq files. We now want to migrate all these functionalities into WMB by using the WTXMap node ( WTX for Integration Servers). We would like to to know if anyone has implemented such projects. It would be great if someone can help us with details like what sort of migration strategy to be followed, what are the version considerations to be taken, to what extent can WTX maps, typetrees and mdq files. Our understanding is that we have to create new message flows based on the logic in the system files and WTX maps, type trees and mdq files can be reused.
Also, are there any additional steps to be considered for this migration?
Please help.
Thanks in Advance!! |

You may be better off migrating the functions to WMB product alone and not the WTX node in WMB.
Parsing is being fully revitalized in V8 (release date is December 2011). You'll get much better performance if you do not use the WTX node. _________________ http://leanpub.com/IIB_Tips_and_Tricks
