I have just installed WMQI 2.1 from a disk received from IBM a couple of weeks ago. CSD03 is applied as part of the install, as well as a web update.
We currently use CSD02 as CSD03 has been reported as problematic.
Does the web update solve the issues of CSD03, and if not is there an easy way of removing CSD03 so that CSD02 can be applied?

You can only roll back any CSDs that you yourself have applied. There is no CSDBkup folder (or appropriate on other platforms) created when you install from an updated installer.
If you want to be at CSD02, you will have to install from something that is at CSD02 or lower (and then apply CSDs up to CSD2).
But CSD04 is probably where you want to be. There are lots and lots of fixes rolled in. And it's been very stable for me, other than the Control Center javaw issue. |

Goto the following url and click on CSD4 link for WMQI 2.1.
http://www-3.ibm.com/software/ts/mqseries/support/summary/mqsi.html
Now select your Platform from the folder list.
There is a supporting .txt file for each zip/tar file within this folder. Double click on the .txt file to find out which file corresponds to CSD3.
You will find text similar to following in the text file,
Quote: |
This memo.ptf file corresponds to CSD03 ...

No, There will be seperate tar/zip file for CSD3, CSD2, CSD1 and so on. There will be corresponding .txt file with matching name, which will tell you what CSD it is. _________________ Kiran
