Currently running MQ 7.0.0 on Windows 2003 SP 2. Queue Managers do not contain SYSTEM.ADMIN.CONFIG.EVENT Queue. Anyone else experiece this issue? Thanks in advance...

I can define the Queue no problem. I also tried strmqm -c <Queue Manager> to create or re-create all the system objects to no avail. But why was this queue not created initially? Didn't see a version 7 fixpack that addressed this issue...

MQ 7.0.0 on non mainframe platforms did not support Config Events, so there is no reason for that queue at MQ 7.0.0 on Windows.


MQ 7.0.1.0 introduced that feature.

Upgrade to 7.0.1.6.
