Hello,

I need to find a software which could help people deploying in a few clicks WMQ's environments.

In fact my company uses a few differents environment "templates", and I am looking for a tool which would deploy those environment on ours WMQ's servers, depending on a few parameters such as server's name, applications name, etc...

Does someone has already heard about such a tool ?

Thanks,

Ant, Hudson, any of the usual suspects in any number of configurations will do this.

If you really just mean "WMQ", a parameterised batch script will probably manage. But you tend not to build so many pure WMQ environments, or with non-qualified people, to make it that worthwhile.

You put WMB in the mix, different story.

IBM's Workload Deployment Manager (if using VMs a lot) might also fit the bill, and as Vitor is apt to say, I neither endorse, act as a salesman, give warranty etc.

If it's a WMQ point solution and you want a lot of flexibility... then MQArchitect is your best friend

What are the rules here? I know of several but not sure I can put exerk's disclaimer at the end of one of my answers!

Rules??

My rules - the short list:
If you are a vendor, you should identify yourself as such.
If you are a consultant (seeking work), you should identify yourself as such.
If you are unskilled, you should identify yourself as such.
If you have a bias toward (or against) a particular vendor or product, you should identify your bias.

I have worked with several brands of deployment tools, and performance monitoring tools. I like the ones I like, and say so in my posts.

Disclaimers are redundant, but good form and fashion. Something that worked for me, might not work for you.
