I am setting up a windows 2000 system in a domain running wmqi 2.1 csd 3. Some of our developers need to run the mqsistop/mqsistart commands.

Can this be set up without giving them administrator rights? I've given them the rights to stop and start the Broker and ConfigManager and it works if run as a net stop command, but not using the mqsi commands.

Any ideas? Thanks.

For the users to be able to stop/start the broker they must be in the mqbrks group.

I donÂ´t see any reason for them to stop/start the configuration manager.
