Hi All,
I am using MB Version 6.1. We have a broker in TEST environment and we want to delete it, so we tried deleting the broker along with the queue manager by issuing the command mqsideletebroker with argument -q.
It deleted the queue manger but it is showing the error as below:
AMQ8118: WebSphere MQ queue manager does not exist.
BIP8081 An exception was caught while processing the response message for the command, 'Unable to format an ImbException message for output, ImbException message number is BIP8069'.
One weird thing is I am unable to see the broker in toolkit when I have connected to configuration manager remotely through my toolkit. But where as when I issue mqsilist command in AIX box I can see the broker.
Can any one please help me in solving this problem.
Regards,
Venkat |

Is the user attempting that operation a member of the mqbrkrs group? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Hi,
How did you recreate the qmgr? Did you create manually broker's administration and communication objects and user privilegies?

And did you create the broker's administration, communication and authorities as well? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

It has not been my experience that mqsideletebroker requires that any SYSTEM.BROKER.* objects exist on the named queue manager, merely that the named queue manager actually exists.
so crtmqm <BrokerQM> can easily be followed by strmqm and then mqsideletebroker with no intervening steps.
That said, it seems somewhat likely that there is a hung process for this particular broker somewhere - perhaps a DFE. |

No.. Actually this was created by one of my colleague. I know that he has created it manually. But i don't think he has created broker's administration, communication and authorities.
