Please help me with this. i am getting this two errors continously. I browsed through net and get this action "prevent port scanning" as a solution. But i dont know how to do it.. please guide me in this.
my error logs

AMQ9209: Connection to host 'ZDTVB (10.145.3.12)' closed.
EXPLANATION:
An error occurred receiving data from 'ZDTVB (10.145.3.12)' over TCP/IP. The
connection to the remote host has unexpectedly terminated.
ACTION:
Tell the systems administrator.
----- amqccita.c : 2781 -------------------------------------------------------

AMQ9228: The TCP/IP responder program could not be started.
EXPLANATION:
An attempt was made to start an instance of the responder program, but the
program was rejected.
ACTION:
The failure could be because either the subsystem has not been started (in this
case you should start the subsystem), or there are too many programs waiting
(in this case you should try to start the responder program later). The reason
code was 0. |

Speak to your network people (or whoever's running the port scanner) and tell them to stop scanning that port.
Seriously.

I suppose you could suppress those 2 Reason Codes for the QM so they don't clog the log. _________________ Peter Potkay

Valid point. Doesn't fix the problem, but provided the problem is only ever caused by a port scanner it offers relief.
Roughly analogous to putting tape over the "check engine" light on your dashboard. It's no problem as long as you're absolutely certain what's incorrectly causing the warning and nothing else happens. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
