I have been using Broker toolkit 6.1 all this while. Can anybody share their experience with toolkit 7.
Broker 7 is extremely convenient to use compare to Broker 6.
Any such thing with Toolkit 7?
Any additions or deletions of features?
Thanks |

Some of the optional support pack nodes became standard issue in WMB7. Its the same tool, just a little more gray hair and more wisdom. WMB is the best ESB product on the planet, light years ahead of any other offering, including open source. _________________ http://leanpub.com/IIB_Tips_and_Tricks

You can not and should not be using Toolkit v6.1 to work with Broker v7, nor really the other way around (Toolkit v7 with Broker 6.1).
There are any number of things that could cause incompatibilities and thus production issues. |

They look alike. Patterns are cool.

The lack of a config manager does help.

Yes. It's the thing you should be using to write flows for broker 7. The thing you asked us for our expereiences with.

As listed in the v7 documentation. Noteably patterns. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

@Vitor.
I've got to get used to the perspectives and since there's no administration perspective and there's no configuration managers it just feels totally New. Okay fresh.
Of course things are now super simpler.
I do part development, part administration. Aren't Patterns entirely developer oriented?
@mqjeff
Totally agree. I had 6.1 and 7 broker installed and they are so incompatible. The brokers i created in 6 won't appear in 7 command console. If i migrate the brokers i couldn't get rid of the configuration managers. Big mess. I uninstalled everything and reinstalled everything 7 (Toolkit, broker, MQ)
