I have a question for the group around the documentation of FLOWS, the Architecture and Design, which includes relationship to an environment and construction principles to be used in design. What tools or standards are people using produce this? WMB does include a facility to create flow documentation, but it is only around the actual FLOW(s) not the complete picture.
Thanks

We use a Design Abstract as the High Level Design (HLD) document and the document produced by Eclipse as the Low Level Design (LLD) document.
The HLD talks in general terms to the points you mentioned about design principles. The LLD becomes embarrassing if the flow developer does not fill in the often overlooked fields like "Short Description" or "Long Description".
Make a pointed effort to keep your HLD abstract, not discussing detail items. The HLD can then apply to many efforts, as a pattern. _________________ http://leanpub.com/IIB_Tips_and_Tricks
